“…It’s all about the kissing, you know.
It’s true! My favorite
part of writing romance (and reading romance, for that matter) is the kissing!
To me…the kiss is the most glorious form of affection shared between
lovers. Between friends and family,
too.
Whether it’s a kiss on the cheek your
dear old college roommate gives you when you hug her, a moment before you both
burst into tears as she boards the plane, a tender kiss on the soft, sweet faces
of your darling children each night as you tuck them snuggly into their beds, or
the impassioned, heated, driven kisses you find yourself sharing with your
‘hero,’…it’s the kiss I adore…the kiss which binds us, lets us know we
care for one another. It’s why I
spend so much time writing ‘kissing scenes,’…I like to try and convey the
heart-felt, depth of the kiss!”
And so…if you’re in
the mood for kissing (the romantic, butterflies-in-your-stomach kind)…The
Clean Romance Club is the place for you!”
Daydreams
by Marcia Lynn McClure
Modern Romance
NEW RELEASE!
Each day after her lunch hour and before his, Sayler would enter Bo Booker's room to find him smiling, seemingly anxious for her to arrive. Each day for six days she talked with him, asking him questions about his work, his family and life. Always, however, she avoided any inquiry about his social life, whether or not he had a girlfriend. She preferred to pretend he did not, that he was quite unattached and free. That made it easier to daydream about belonging to him herself. Oh sure, she knew daydreams were only that…dreams people made up during the day to entertain themselves. Still, Bo Booker was the perfect subject matter for daydreaming and Sayler relished every one. And there were many. Sayler would find herself staring up at the sky, but instead of seeing the summer blue she saw herself on the arm of Bo Booker. Instead of hearing the stories of library excitement when Monica was speaking to her, often Sayler could almost imagine being kissed by Bo Booker. Almost feel his lips pressed to hers, almost feel what it would be like to be held in his strong arms. Read
